I am recieveing emails of people from Gather that I have not made my friends. I keep getting their articles, their comments, ect. in my emails. I spend close to five min. deleting all this stuff.

why is it people that are not my friends activites come up in my email?
I thought you only recieve emails on your friends activites when you have made them your friends? I must take five minutes just deleting emails from people who are not my friends on here.

I hope you announce this soon as many people aren't aware of it:
It seems you will be holding another "Talk to Tom" chat this coming Tuesday (4/22) at 12N EST? I hope you realize many people will be at work at that time.
In the meantime, it seems you want people to post additional feedback and suggestions for Gather improvements At Gather Member Support? I hope feed issues and what will display on Google (comments, activities, etc), connection to SEO will be fully explained. Thanks.
I would like pages that display results for more than 24 hours and are intuitive, promote our articles first (feels more personal for us) and brings more members to Gather.
Alexa.com isn't inspiring when it comes to usage since the upgrade. TEmporary spikes in usage during contests and after upgrades (negative comments) do not indicate an ongoing trend.

I'm wondering when I can change my black icon back to the beautiful sunset photo I had before the latest "hawthorne" downgrade, which you call an upgrade? You have turned Gather into a "run of the mill" social website, after starting out as a unique place to share "content" of photos, articles and videos. Now it's a real "pain" to find and comment on other people's content. The feed is a cluttered up "mess" and the icon images are so small that you can't tell what the photo is or whether you want to even view it. You've "juvenilized" this website into making "who pinged who" and "who connected with who" the focus instead of a nice "adult" website to share and exchange interesting content with one another. I graduated from high school over 30 years ago, Tom!!! Gather has lost the "fun" for me, as well as, many, many others... Please, please consider "fixing" this mess so we can enjoy Gather again. Thanks! Sue

I'm troubled with the current state of Gather. Is there a plan to address the Member concerns regarding the recent upgrade? I have heard some members are planning to leave Gather over these issues.
